Unwind at Casa de Tortugas

Start your day at Casa de Tortugas with a few stretches and cup of coffee on the spacious rooftop palapa-covered penthouse patio. Head down to the beautiful infinity pool surrounded by lush tropical gardens and bask in the sun or lounge under the shade of the palapas. Watch the whales breach in the ocean and the fishing boats dock at the adjacent marina. Casa de Tortugas is surrounded by walls for extra privacy. You may end your day at Casa de Tortugas on the penthouse patio watching a spectacular sunset at dinner or at the sweeping polished wood patio bar with other guests and friendly locals for an impromptu party. While in Chacala, you will meet wonderful people. Many of our guests form lasting friendships with other guests of Casa de Tortugas.

If you can tear yourself away from the self-contained paradise of Casa de Tortugas, Chacala beach is a short two-minute stroll away in one direction and the marina is a two-minute walk in the other direction. In fact, everything in Chacala is within walking distance of Casa de Tortugas—the jewel of Chacala rentals.

For your convenience, Casa de Tortugas has convenient off street parking and wireless internet.

Casa de Tortugas Suites

Recently remodeled, Casa de Tortugas is often the first choice for Chacala rentals. Casa de Tortugas can comfortably accommodate the groups from one to 15. The “Familia” unit sleeps 4 to 11 and is the perfect Chacala rental for a family or group of friends. Local architect Jose Enrique designed the King Suites in an exotic style to maximize your experience. While each King Suite is equipped with a mini-refrigerator, microwave and coffeemaker, the large, palapa-covered outdoor kitchen located just outside the King Suites is available for more extensive cooking. Casa de Tortugas is a non-smoking property.

Rates

A one time reservation fee of $10.00 or 120 pesos per room will be added to summer rates.

• Stays of 1 week or more with payment in full upon making reservation may be eligible for a 10% discount except during Christmas and Semana Santa/ Spring break .
• Payment by bank wire or Paypal. Bank drafts (checks) Will be accepted if received at least 30 days prior to check in and no more than 7 days from making reservation.
• Paypal payments will be charged an additional 3%.
• For stays of 5 days or more, half down payment is due within 5 days of making reservation. Balance due no less than 30 days prior to arrival.
• For stays of 4 days or less, Full payment is due within 5 days of making reservation.
• Refunds will be given if a written request is received 60 days prior to check-in date. A handling fee of 10% or $40.00 (whichever is larger) will be charged.
• No refunds are given if less than 60 days written notice is received.
• A surcharge will apply for stays under 3 days.
  
  Rental options – The full building with 6 Bedrooms and 5 baths (Sleeps 15), the downstairs group unit only (3 bedrooms 2 baths), or one (or more) of the single 1 bedroom, 1 bath units on the second floor. Rates for the 2nd floor one bedroom units vary from $79 to $99 per night depending on the season, and $220 - $290 for the lower 3 bedroom unit.
