A wonderful place for a family or friends to get together. This is a newly
remodeled, 3000 sq ft hacienda, located on a perch overlooking the Pacific ocean
and adjacent marina. The property features one of the best locations in town and
has a wonderful, relaxing feel to it.
Nearly all the rooms have spectacular ocean views.
The beach is a short, two minute walk along the ocean, and the boat dock
is just 2 minutes in the other direction.
There is a huge, rooftop, palapa-covered penthouse patio, an incredible
‘Infinity’ pool blending into the blue Pacific Ocean. In season, you can see whales breach in the ocean while
swimming in the pool; at night watch the fireflies flit overhead while
overlooking the ocean.
There is a total of 6 Bedrooms and 5 Bathrooms on two separate levels. The
downstairs is home-like, with 3 large bedrooms. 1 bedroom [with a nice view],
has 1 queen bed, 1 has 2 double beds, and 1 has 3 twin beds. There are 2 new
baths, a large living and dining area (with great ocean views!) and brand new
kitchen. The second floor has 3 separate 1 bedroom ocean-view suites; each with
a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, air conditioning,
king-size bed, ceiling fan, bathroom featuring large ocean-view showers with
soaking tubs and an open-air concept. These 3 rooms share a very large patio
with a palapa-covered outdoor kitchen.
One of the rooms offers a more private patio area.

CHACALA
INFORMATION
Chacala is an authentic, undiscovered town of 550 on one of the prettiest bays
in Mexico, on the Mexican Riviera, 90 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta, 45
minutes north of Sayulita. A
secret, off-the-beaten track destination, primarily for well-to-do Mexican
Nationals, Canadian Snowbirds, and other smart visitors who want to get away
from it all.
It has a charming, slow paced, small town feel, and the alternative to the
hustle and bustle of tourist destinations. It is similar to how Sayulita was
years ago – uncrowded beaches, inexpensive food and drink. Here you’ll actually
hear more Spanish than English. It
is quaint – beautiful – sunny – and warm year-round, with temperatures between
the 70’s and the 80’s, with evenings in the 60’s.
Normal airport arrival is Puerto Vallarta, then a rental car, taxi, or bus
brings you to the village of Chacala
ACTIVITIES IN CHACALA
Visitors are guaranteed to find plenty of local activities to enjoy throughout
the days. Some include
hiking
to the top of the nearby volcano crater, viewing 2000 year old petroglyphs,
affordable private Spanish classes,
shopping
at the local street market in nearby La Penita,
bird-watching
in the virgin jungle, visiting the local crocodile farm, and
sun-bathing
on the white sandy beaches.
Water sports include
surfing
the nearby point breaks,
snorkeling
the abundant local reefs,
boat trips
to secluded beaches,
fishing
from either the rocky point or out of local pangas (small boats) or just
relaxing
in the clear, blue, and warm waters of the Pacific Ocean. Sea turtles, whales
and dolphins make the waters of Chacala their home and playground.
